Today, the entire zip code of 19803 is commonly referred to as Talleyville, and the intersection of Foulk Road and Silverside Road was called Talley’s Corner because Talley's relatives had homes on all four corners. Pembrey is a deed-restricted community. In 1964, Lawrence and his second wife, Esther Talley, transferred their rights to the Pembrey Civic Association to allow them to enforce deed restrictions and covenants. Hence, the Board of Directors of the Pembrey Civic Association is responsible for enforcing its deed restrictions.
